Care & Maintenance Guide
Crafted to age with grace, Latr pieces reflect the passage of time, not wear. We select enduring materials and offer a care guide to help you preserve their beauty, day after day, year after year.

Cork
Cork, in its natural state, is porous and sensitive to moisture. To preserve its integrity, wipe up any spills promptly. For regular upkeep, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water and a mild, pH-neutral cleaner suitable for wood or cork. Avoid products with ammonia or harsh abrasives. For light residue or stickiness, gently clean with a damp cloth, then dry immediately with a clean, soft cloth. Always test any cleaning method on a hidden area first, and never leave damp materials resting on the surface.
NOTE: Natural materials carry subtle variations and will develop a distinctive patina over time — a reflection of their use and character.

Wood - Oiled
To preserve the beauty of your products and enhance its longevity, we recommend oiling your piece twice a year using a natural wood oil. All items are designed for indoor use unless specified otherwise.
Cleaning: Simply wipe the surface with a soft cloth lightly dampened with clean water. Avoid chemical cleaners to maintain the integrity of the wood.
NOTE: Natural materials carry subtle variations and will develop a distinctive patina over time — a reflection of their use and character.

Wood - Stained or Lacquered
To keep your piece looking its best, routine care is key. Unless otherwise noted, all items are intended for indoor use only.
Cleaning Tips:
- Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and light marks — this will help maintain the smooth finish and subtle sheen of stained or lacquered surfaces.
- For sticky spots or surface residue, wipe gently with a slightly damp cloth, then immediately dry with a clean cloth.
- Avoid chemical cleaners of any kind, as they may damage the finish. Always test any cleaning approach on an inconspicuous area before applying it across the surface.
- Never leave a damp cloth on the surface, and keep the furniture away from water, alcohol, cosmetics, or food spills that may cause stains or damage.

Leather
Leather care is straightforward. Simply apply a leather cleaner and wipe the entire surface, from edge to edge. The color of the piece may deepen slightly after cleaning, even once dry. One of the most captivating qualities of natural leather is its ability to develop a beautiful patina, transitioning into a soft amber or honey shade as it interacts with your skin’s natural oils over time.
NOTE: Each natural material has its own distinct characteristics and will gradually acquire a unique patina. Newly purchased leather will change in color as it is used, reflecting the life it shares with you.
